In writing this book, the primary goal was to provide students of paramedical professions with an aid that would meet their needs in anatomical knowledge, thus contributing to filling the gap that existed on this subject in the Greek bibliography. To achieve this goal, there were three points that had to be paid special attention to. The first point was the length of the text, which had to be relatively limited, but at the same time cover all the individual needs of the various paramedical specialties. The second point was the language of the text, which had to be accessible to the student who is often unfamiliar with scientific terminology. The third point was the illustrations. Especially in anatomy, the correct selection and placement of images is crucial for a better understanding of the text. I hope that with this book I have achieved these goals to the extent possible.
