Froso Hatziaggelaki

Froso Hatziaggelaki – Lagoudi, painter and writer, was born and raised in Perama, Piraeus. Her acquaintance with the colorist began very early, close to her painter Father Michalis Hatziaggelakis and then next to renowned artists. She is a member of the Piraeus Society of Letters and Arts and for four years from 1993 to 1997 she was a member of the council and head of Public Relations. As well as Municipal Councilor of the Perama Cultural and Artistic Association until 2005. She has taken part in many group exhibitions, while her work has been shown several times on private television. In 1994 she held her second solo exhibition, entitled MEMORIES, where she was awarded by the LAIONS CENTER and the Piraeus Literature and Arts Society, as an exceptional talent. She has had ten solo exhibitions in the Municipality of Perama, the Municipal Theater of Piraeus, the Floraki Gallery, in Hydra (Lagoudera), etc. In 2004 she was awarded the Medal of the City of Perama for her contribution to Art, while in 2008 from the E.G.E. (WOMEN’S UNION) of Perama, from the Municipal Library of Piraeus, she received a Commendation for her work REFUGE which adorns the space of the Library on the 5th floor. Her works also adorn many Public and Private Collections, such as Perama City Hall, Perama Cultural Center, Fisheries Museum, Piraeus Library, etc. At the same time, she also creates large-scale works (sets, children’s rooms). She has published a poetry collection entitled “West of Hope”. Since 2005, she has had her own space, Art Workshop, where she creates and dreams of a better world. She has been listed in Who is Who, Encyclopedia of Biographies of Personalities of Greece.
